This morning I passed a vintage bike shop in my neighbourhood and couldn't believe my eyes: they no longer sell bikes, only offer repairs and urban bike rentals for tourists.

It perfectly illustrates the paradox the bike world is living right now: bike sales are stagnant, more shops are closing, and yet there are more cyclists on the streets and cycle tourism keeps growing at double-digit rates year after year. "Chaos" is the mildest way to put it.

Yet there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and Andrea Panzeri, CEO of RMS, showed it in the latest episode of "From Bike to Business." RMS is a little-known name to the public because it works exclusively with bike shops — and knows them inside out.
