Mission

“Let’s turn Italy into a bike-friendly country.” Everything we do has this ultimate goal.

Those who work for Bikenomist work for those who cycle and those who have not yet started. We are a service-oriented company, which means we are at the service of those who choose us. Money is the consequence of this act of service.

Principles

  • First comes the mission, then the team, then individuals. Decisions are made based on this order of values.
  • Health is a non-negotiable value. That’s why we pay attention to the impact of our behaviors on the ecosystem.
  • Done is better than perfect. Once done, we perfect it.
  • There is no good reason to disrespect a colleague, a customer, a supplier, or a reader.
  • We have two ears and one mouth to listen twice as much as we speak.
  • If you promise something, deliver more than you promised.
  • Those who cannot serve do not deserve.
  • Everyone makes mistakes; it’s when the same mistakes are repeated that they become wrong.
  • Don’t try to manage your time; manage your focus.
  • Never report a problem without a solution (even if it’s wrong).
  • Never hide a mistake: only those who do nothing never make mistakes.
  • Training is a continuous process. Learning something every day is a duty.
  • Do not decide based on emotions. In doubt, postpone the decision.
  • If you don’t like something, say it. If you disagree, say it.
  • Criticism is for improvement and self-improvement. It is important to know how to give and accept it.
  • Your opinion matters. That’s why we chose you and not someone else.
  • Complaining has never solved problems. Rolling up your sleeves, on the other hand, does.
  • The budget is not a problem if the return on investment is positive.
  • Before doing anything, ask yourself why you are doing it.

Happy cycling and good work.
