Milano Bike City is a widespread program promoted by the Department of Sport in collaboration with the Department of Mobility and supported by dozens of sports, cultural and commercial entities.
From Sept. 15 to Sept. 30, presentations, races, appointments, bike rides and workshops dedicated to two-wheelers will take place on the Milanese territory with the well-established “fuorisalone” formula.
With this operation, Milan is bidding to become a reference point in the global cycling scene with a first edition that will count on more than 200 events spread throughout the city.
Bikeitalia.it is the official media partner of Milano Bike City and we of bikenomist we will organize a number of activities: among them an aperitif in which we will talk about proper riding position, and another appointment to talk about proper nutrition and cycling, but also about bike sharing with a nationwide conference to take stock of the great bike-sharing chaos:

The training course “Realizing the Bicycle City” aims to provide administrators, planners and designers with the first tools to comply with legal obligations, improve the quality of public space, increase the number of bicycle trips and rationalize car trips.

Sunday, September 23 – Milan Fancy Women Bike Ride
A women-only downtown bike ride that this year will be held in 70 cities simultaneously around the world.

Monday, September 24 – Bike Sharing City
“Bike Sharing City” to be held from 9:30 a.m. at Palazzina Appiani on Via Byron in Milan.
9:30 a.m.: Roundtable discussion with practitioners and cities to learn about the state of the art.
12 noon: test ride inside Simplon Park
2:30 pm: Bilateral meetings between companies and municipalities.
